Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Locally heavy showers will continue overnight along a slow- moving cold front. Additional rainfall totals up to an inch or slightly higher remain possible in the hardest hit locations. North Central Wyoming County in southern West Virginia... * Until 500 AM EDT. * At 1207 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Bald Knob, Wharton, Amherstdale-Robinette, Mallory, Stickney, Naoma and Amherstdale-Robine. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
