Special Weather Statement issued June 27 at 4:47PM MDT by NWS Riverton WY At 447 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Powder River Pass to 10 miles east of Teapot Rock. Movement was northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near... Linch around 455 PM MDT. Fort Reno Historical Site around 500 PM MDT. This includes the following highways... Interstate 25 between mile markers 226 and 299. Interstate 90 between mile markers 50 and 95. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
