In east central Oklahoma, Pontotoc and Seminole. In southeast Oklahoma, Atoka, Coal, Hughes and Johnston. In southern Oklahoma, Garvin, Murray and Stephens. * WHEN...Through Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are possible this afternoon, evening and into Wednesday morning. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Flood Advisory issued June 23 at 1:59PM CDT until June 23 at 5:00PM CDT by NWS Norman OK * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of central Oklahoma, including the following counties, Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, McClain and Oklahoma. * WHEN...Until 500 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 159 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Oklahoma City, Norman, Moore, Midwest City, Del City, Newcastle, Blanchard, Purcell, Mustang, Choctaw, Noble, Tuttle, Harrah, Slaughterville, Spencer, Jones, Nicoma Park, Lexington, Goldsby and Dibble. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
