Neosho River near Commerce affecting Ottawa County. * WHAT...Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Neosho River near Commerce. * WHEN...From late tonight to early Thursday morning. * IMPACTS...At 19.0 feet, low lying areas around Miami become cut off from easy access. Riverview Park experiences moderate flooding. State Highway 125 near the fairgrounds will be threatened. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 9.7 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tonight to a crest of 19.1 feet early Tuesday morning.
