In northwest Oklahoma, Alfalfa, Ellis, Harper, Major, Woods and Woodward. * WHEN...Through Friday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Some low-lying oilfields may be isolated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 7:30 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 12.3 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Forecast...The Salt Fork Arkansas River is expected to rise to a crest of 15.0 feet early tomorrow afternoon. - Action stage is 14.0 feet. - Flood stage is 17.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternative route.
