HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include... Greensboro, High Point, McLeansville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Stokesdale, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Haw River State Park, and Lake Guilford Mackintosh Marina. This includes the following highways... Interstate 85 between Mile Markers 33 and 35, and between Mile Markers 113 and 131. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 132 and 139, and between Mile Markers 206 and 226. Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 89 and 103. Interstate 74 between Mile Markers 65 and 76. Straight line winds can blow down trees, power lines, and damage mobile homes and other buildings. Seek shelter in a sturdy structure until the storm has passed.
