Movement was east at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Fayetteville, Goldsboro, Clinton, Dunn, Benson, Godwin, Hope Mills, Erwin, Eastover, and Coats. This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between Mile Markers 81 and 41. Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 325 and 353. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM EDT for central North Carolina.
