Flood Watch issued July 9 at 8:29PM EDT until July 10 at 12:00AM EDT by NWS Mount Holly NJ * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southern New Jersey, including the following areas, Atlantic, Coastal Atlantic and Cumberland. * WHEN...Until midnight EDT tonight. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and thunderstorms will continue to develop through this evening, capable of producing heavy downpours. Rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour, possibly as high as 3 inches per hour, are likely and short term training could result in flooding over portions of southern New Jersey. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
