Flood Watch issued June 13 at 8:33AM CDT until June 14 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Springfield MO * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...Portions of east central, south central, and southwest Missouri, including the following counties, in east central Missouri, Phelps. In south central Missouri, Dent, Howell, Oregon, Shannon and Texas. In southwest Missouri, Douglas, Ozark, Taney, Webster and Wright. * WHEN...Through Sunday morning. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Widespread 2 to 4 inches of rain with locally higher amounts. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

Flood Warning issued June 13 at 3:46PM CDT until June 14 at 3:00PM CDT by NWS Springfield MO * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...A portion of southwest Missouri, including the following counties, Webster and Wright. * WHEN...Until 300 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 346 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings... Panther Creek at Highway B, Finley River at Highway Z, Panther Creek at North Iron Mountain Road, James River at Bell Ford Road, Pomme De Terre River at Greenwood Road, Baker Creek at Baker Creek Road and Finley River at Harmony Road. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Rogersville, Seymour, Mansfield, Fordland, Norwood, Diggins and Northview. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads.
