Flood Watch issued June 7 at 9:51PM CDT until June 8 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS St Louis MO * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of central Missouri, including the following areas, Boone MO, Callaway MO, Cole MO, Moniteau MO and Osage MO. * WHEN...Through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms with very heavy rainfall are expected across the watch area through Monday morning. Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is possible with locally higher amounts which could result in flash flooding where soils are already moistening. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 2 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Columbia, Mexico, Centralia, Columbia Regional Airport, Hallsville, Auxvasse, Sturgeon, Rocheport, Murry, Midway, Harrisburg, Kingdom City, Vandiver, Lupus, McBaine, Hatton and Thompson.
