Rainfall of 1 to 3 inches is possible with locally higher amounts which could result in flash flooding where soils are already moistening. You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Jefferson City, California, Ashland, Columbia Regional Airport, St. Martins, Russellville, Jamestown, Centertown, McGirk, Easley, Hickory Hill, High Point, Marion, Lohman, Eugene, Hartsburg, Elston, Wilton and Sandy Hook. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
