Flood Watch issued June 16 at 8:17AM CDT until June 18 at 6:00PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL * WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Mississippi, including the following counties, George, Greene, Perry, Stone and Wayne. * WHEN...Through Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall will continue through at least Thursday afternoon in addition to the rainfall that fell on Monday. Flood Advisory issued June 16 at 11:58AM CDT until June 16 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Mobile AL * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE...Western Stone County in southeastern Mississippi... * WHEN...Until 100 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1155 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms moving into western Stone County. These storms are producing very heavy rain rates with 1 to 3 inches likely falling in a short duration. This will result in minor flooding across the area. If additional storms build across this area, a flash flood warning may become necessary. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
