In southeast Kentucky, Breathitt, Clay, Jackson, Leslie, Owsley and Perry. * WHEN...Until 230 PM EDT. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1113 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is expected to begin shortly. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Mount Vernon, Buckhorn, Maulden, Zekes Point, Herd, Egypt, Shepherdtown, Nathanton, Tyner, Malcomb, Sourwood, High Knob, Chestnutburg, Welchburg, Mildred, Sextons Creek, Settle Store, Sacker Gap, Burning Springs and Island City. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
