Low-water crossings may be flooded. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.

For the Extreme Heat Watch, dangerously hot conditions with heat index values of 105 to 110 possible. * WHERE...Portions of southern Illinois, southwest Indiana, western Kentucky, and southeast Missouri. * WHEN...For the Heat Advisory, from noon CDT /1 PM EDT/ to 8 PM CDT /9 PM EDT/ Sunday. For the Extreme Heat Watch, from Monday morning through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Heat related illnesses increase significantly during extreme heat and high humidity events. Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A prolonged period of dangerous heat and humidity is expected this coming week. Flood Warning issued June 27 at 8:38PM CDT until June 27 at 11:45PM CDT by NWS Paducah KY * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...A portion of western Kentucky, including the following county, McCracken. * WHEN...Until 1145 PM CDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 836 PM CDT, emergency management reported standing water remains on several roads as flooding slowly improves. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Paducah, Lone Oak, Reidland, West Paducah, Barkley Regional Airport and Kevil. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
