Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms expected tonight. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1156 AM CDT, Emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. - This includes the following low water crossings... Lost Creek at Highway CC, High School Branch at McCord Street, Hickory Creek at Coler RD, Buffalo Creek at Finch Drive and North Indian Creek at Orchid Drive. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Water crosses Mickey Mantle Blvd in the park. Water level rises to the flag pole on the north side of the park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:30 AM CDT Monday the stage was 14.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Monday was 14.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 17.5 feet this evening.
