South Skunk River at Colfax affecting Polk, Jasper and Marion Counties. South Skunk River near Ames US 30 affecting Polk and Story Counties. Fourmile Creek at Des Moines Easton Blvd affecting Polk County. South Skunk River near Ames W Riverside Rd affecting Story County. * WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...The South Skunk River near Ames US 30, or from Ioway Creek to the Polk-Jasper County line. * WHEN...Until early tomorrow afternoon. * IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Water affects the Shady Grove Trailer Park located at 1006 S Dayton Ave as well as the railroad just northeast of Cambridge. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 9:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 23.2 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 23.4 feet this afternoon.
