Flash Flood Warning issued June 28 at 7:11AM CDT until June 28 at 11:15AM CDT by NWS Paducah KY At 711 AM CDT, Heavy rainfall is ending but 1 to 3 inches of additional rain fell overnight. Areas of high water will persist and may worsen over the next few hours. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Evansville, Newburgh, Chandler, Melody Hill, Darmstadt, Poseyville, Cynthiana, Kasson and Blairsville. Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
