Flood Watch issued June 7 at 10:16PM CDT until June 8 at 1:00PM CDT by NWS Little Rock AR * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of western Arkansas, including the following areas, Johnson County Higher Elevations and Southern Johnson County. * WHEN...Through Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings may be flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Portions of west central Arkansas have received 1 to 3 inches of rainfall in the past day and will be primed for additional excessive rainfall forecast early Monday morning. Rainfall amounts of 2 to 3 inches will be possible during the early Monday morning timeframe. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings.
