Severe Thunderstorm Watch issued June 13 at 9:50PM CDT until June 14 at 12:00AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 329 REMAINS VALID UNTIL MIDNIGHT CDT TONIGHT FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN KANSAS THIS WATCH INCLUDES 13 COUNTIES IN SOUTH CENTRAL KANSAS BUTLER COWLEY HARPER SUMNER IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS ALLEN CHAUTAUQUA ELK GREENWOOD LABETTE MONTGOMERY NEOSHO WILSON WOODSON THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF ANDOVER, ANTHONY, ARKANSAS CITY, ATTICA, AUGUSTA, CEDAR VALE, CHANUTE, COFFEYVILLE, EL DORADO, EUREKA, FREDONIA, GRENOLA, HARPER, HOWARD, HUMBOLDT, INDEPENDENCE, IOLA, LONGTON, MADISON, MOLINE, NEODESHA, PARSONS, ROSE HILL, SEDAN, WELLINGTON, WINFIELD, AND YATES CENTER.

Flood Watch issued June 13 at 7:53PM CDT until June 14 at 7:00AM CDT by NWS Wichita KS * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of southeast Kansas, including the following counties, Allen, Chautauqua, Elk, Greenwood, Labette, Montgomery, Neosho, Wilson and Woodson. * WHEN...Until 7 AM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Thunderstorms with heavy rain will impact southeast Kansas this evening and tonight. There is a potential for 2 to 3 inches of rain with locally higher amounts possible. You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
