Central Sherman County in northwestern Kansas... * Until 1015 PM MDT/1115 PM CDT/. * At 937 PM MDT/1037 PM CDT/, a severe thunderstorm was located near Goodland, moving east at 35 mph. HAZARD...Two inch hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Law enforcement. Golf ball size hail has been reported west of Goodland. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near... Goodland around 940 PM MDT. Other locations in the path of this severe thunderstorm include Brewster. This includes Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 9 and 39. For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. This thunderstorm is producing accumulating hail, which will make driving hazardous, similar to snow or ice.
